Founded in 1970 by Gerald D. Clower, the company continues to thrive as a family business owned and operated by Gerald's son, Gerald E. "Jerry" Clower and grandson Todd G. Clower. Over the years the Clower family expanded the company considerably, growing from two vessels to four state-of-the-art tugboats - and redeveloping 4000 linear feet of barge fleeting space located between Algiers Lock and Industrial Lock.
Gerald's vision was to offer barge lines the convenience of a first-class New Orleans towing and fleeting company. His vision still guides the company in the 21st century. We are proud to maintain a family business environment with an emphasis on personal service and attention to our customers' needs.

We specialize in fleeting petrochemical barges, but have the capability to handle dry cargo and heavy equipment.
Located at LMR MM91 AHP RDB, our fleet is conveniently located between Algiers Lock and Industrial Lock and encompasses 4000 linear feet.
With 23 monopile mooring dolphins featuring our own robust mooring lines we can fleet 30-35 tank barges while leaving plenty of space for customer boats.
