Harry's Towing in Marysville was a failing business until Ron Hansen, founder of Hansen's Towing, purchased and took it over. Like most tow companies he started out as a gas/service station. In the service business you figure out quickly that the need for a tow truck is inevitable. At this point, Mr. Hansen was a one-man show towing cars in, fixing them up, and pumping gas.
In 1962 he went to work for the City of Everett towing wrecked/abandoned cars and city vehicles. This sprung a need for more space and in 1963 Mr. Hansen bought a storage yard property on Smith Ave in Everett. In 1980 Hansen's Towing expanded into the City of Marysville taking over a struggling company called Harry's Towing. In late 2009 Mr. Hansen purchased another tow company in the City of Marysville called Discount Towing & Recovery in hopes of reaching out to more customers in the current struggling economy.

Our Class C wrecker/recovery unit handles heavy-duty tows from Seattle to Mount Vernon.
With the main section of I-5 running right through Everett, we are able to quickly respond to any accident/recovery need where large trucks and trailers are involved.

Auctions are held the last Saturday of every month at the Hansen's Towing yard in Everett - 3511 Smith Ave, 98201.
All vehicles up for auction are brought down from Harry's and Discount Towing in Marysville to the Everett yard so they are all in one place.
Gates open at 8:00AM for vehicle previews.
A government issued I.D. card is required (like a driver's license) to register for the auction.
Auctioning begins at 10:00AM.
Payment for any vehicles purchased is due BEFORE you leave.
Any auctioned vehicle not claimed by the original bidder will go to the next highest bidder.
